This bubble chair is NOT manufactured by EERO AARNIO. It is a muck lower quality replica. The lexan edge is roughly cut and not as well finished/formed as the real chair. The lexan is also thinner. The support ring is hollow tubing instead of the solid ring of the real deal. The tubing was quite dented and dinged from somebody beating on it during manufacture. The welded V ring that supports the entire weight of the chair is much smaller diameter than the original and not nearly the weld quality.
Unless I am mistaken, advertising this as an EERO ARNIO violates FTC regulations and DesignerSeating is subject to a rather large fine. I was going to return the chair, but the large, flimsy box got rained on and I would have have to package it for return shipping. I decided to move on with my life rather than get bogged down, so I kept it.
