The day bed its self in nice and sturdy and looks wonderful in out guest bedroom. The mattresses are soft but comfortable so it should be good for guests to sleep on. The issues I had was that the right side arm screw did not go completely in which obviously if left as is would ruin the intergrity of the bed. At first, the company only offered a $25 refund and told me to leave it as it; when I explained that I could not in good faith let my guests sleep on that kind of bed they promptly sent a new side arm to replace the defective one and I didn't have to go through the hassle of sending the defective one back, which was great for me since I'm so busy. I applaud them for resolving the issue so quickly. My second issue is the trundle is about 3" higher than the bed's mattress so it can not form one large bed and I can't seem to find a 3" box spring. I will have to probably have something made so that the mattress is the same height as the trundle and they can be combined as one large bed. Overall a beautiful bed.
