John Boos 10 Inch Butcher Holder

Since 1887, John Boos and Company has manufactured high quality cutting boards, butcher's blocks and countertops in South Central Illinois. Boos Professional Butcher's Blocks are built in Effingham, Illinois from seleect American Northern Hard Rock Maple. Hard Rock Maple is easy on knives and resists nicks and gouges, preventing bacteria from penetrating the wood. The PCA2 block features a 10-inch thick, end grain construction top. The surface length and width measurements are 18 by 24-inch and the cutting surface features a Boos block cream finish with beeswax. A wood knife holder is attached for convenient knife storage. Four matching pencil legs are included. After simple assembly, the PCA2 block stands 34-inch tall. John Boos recommends oiling butcher's block tops every three to four weeks to maintain and protect the wood from drying or cracking. John Boos Oil and Cream sold separately.
