Sleek Design And Intelligent Features – It’s The Center Of Entertainment
The Novia 8426 is engineered to conceal a subwoofer while allowing sound to pass through the louvered side panel. The top compartment can hold a home-theater-in-a-box, components or a center channel speaker. Below are two media storage shelves and a larger component compartment that can house two full-sized components. The component compartment features an adjustable shelf that rests on threaded and cushioned shelf supports to minimize the transmission of vibrations. IR-friendly, grey tinted glass windows in the doors allow for easy remote control access. Flow-through ventilation slots are machined into the bottom panels, shelves and back panels to facilitate cooling airflow and protect components from overheating. Quick-release door hinges, removable back panels and integrated cable management make for a simple setup. Hidden wheels allow the entire cabinet to be rolled away from the wall and integrated levelers compensate for uneven floors.
The Novia 8426 is the ideal choice for a flat panel TV (up to 55”) and for those who wish to conceal their subwoofer. Two small shelves are ideal for media storage and the additional top and lower compartments can accommodate up to 5 components.

  The Novia 8426 from BDI is a handsome unit. Absolutely solid. It arrived very well packaged in spite of some rough handling from both the shipper and myself. This is due to the unit being extremely heavy It took the combined efforts of my wife and I and my neighbour and his wife to get it into my house-by sliding, not by lifting. Assembly is a snap taking only a few minutes using the tools, including a Phillips screwdriver, supplied with the unit. The finish on the unit is very good but not perfect. There are a few small imperfections on the solid wood border of the top. The compartment for hiding the subwoofer works well. Doors fit well and move smoothly.
  All in all I am very happy with this cabinet.
