The Sanus Woodbrook AV Foundations WFAV44 is a double-wide five-shelf AV cabinet with eight internal shelves. Its contemporary design using Grade A hardwood and MDF virtually eliminates resonance. Sanus' unique convection cooling system allows heated air to escape as cooler air is drawn in, keeping AV components at a proper temperature. Removable glass and wood door inseerts allow total flexibility in cabinet design.Concealed venting allows heated air to flow out the top while drawing in cool air through the bottom, keeping AV components at a proper temperature.

  After searching all my local furniture stores for an A/V cabinet to fit a specific spot in our living room and not finding what I needed locally. I turned to the internet and found the SANUS WFAV44MO with an MSRP of almost a $- grand. was selling this A/V cabinet for almost half that price and that was a good relief from the MSRP sticker shock. So I ordered it. This cabinet is the biggest piece of crap I have ever put together in my entire life. From it ultra cheap pot medal locking barrel devices to its cardboard interior to the ribs that cannot possible hold the three upright sturdy enough to keep the unit stable or wiggle free enough when you have to get behind it to replace a device or change wiring. I have an older analog receiver that much heaver then the newer digital receivers and when I placed my receiver on the middle shelf it collapse. I found that all the 3/4 shelf have been undercut all but 1/32 in the pin area and an ultra thin plastic cup inseerted in the holes? Also the screws that hold the shelves are screwed into the cardboard sides. I also needed to buy a TV wall mount for our new flat screen and you can bet I didn't once considered The Sanus brand of mounts-Fooling me once was enough! I now wish I`d done more research before buying this miserable excuse of a cheaply design cabinet.
