The shipment contained the incorrect washer hardware, as was well-documented in other Skyline reviews posted years prior. However, I was under the incorrect assumption that Skyline would have the issue figured out by now or that I wouldn't have the same issue because I was ordering a different model. Neither assumption was correct.
I was able to find the missing parts at my local hardware store. However, after the hours of headache due the the incorrect parts and the sheer hassle of putting a giant piece of furniture together, it did not go together properly. There are gaps, eccentricities, and misalignments between every visible and necessary piece. The hassle of taking it apart to return it is larger than the hassle of selling it on craigslist for half of the price. Actually, I don't think I could take it apart if my life depended on it. .com will freely take the return, but only if I can package it up nicely, which is impossible to do with a giant king sized headboard to footboard, 100+ lb. massiveness. Major loss of money and time. Major disappointment.
