I would have given this product 1 star for poor directions and wrong/misfitting parts, but I am satisfied that I have a bed that serves my purposes.
This product came in three, heavy, boxes. I had to open and go through most pieces before I found the instructions. These instructions did not include a detailed parts list, the diagrams were not clearly labeled, and the instruction steps were unclear and incomplete in places.
Partway through assembly, I discovered that the bolts I was directed to use to attach the interior legs to the middle of the bedframe were the wrong size. I managed to find a usable substitute at Lowe's, because I did not want to try to pack up the pieces for return, nor did I know how to describe the pieces over the phone if I were to call the retailer.
I also had to make another trip to get wood screws when the bolts to attach the headboard would not go in straight, and the pre-drilled hole was breaking down.
After finally assembling this bed, I am satisfied with the size, the color (sort of an egg-plant purple) and it seems sturdy enough, but I am not eager to buy more products from this manufacturer.
